Where is the event located? On the Boardwalk by the stage.  Use 9811 Washingtonian Boulevard for GPS.

Is the event free?
Yes! Books on the Boardwalk is free to attend. Your book is your ticket to entry!

Are children and dogs welcome?
Yes! Children and well-behaved dogs are welcome with supervision. Please be courteous to others enjoying the quiet reading experience.

Can I bring my own alcohol?
No outside alcohol is permitted. Drinks will be available for purchase from Charley Chesapeake Chophouse’s pop-up bar and may be enjoyed in the designated area near the Boardwalk Stage.

Is there seating?
Yes! Seating is available on a first-come, first-served basis. You’re also welcome to bring a chair, mat or cushion.

Will it be silent?
Not completely! This is a relaxed outdoor reading event, so some ambient noise is expected. No pressure to mingle – quiet reading is encouraged!
